Sony Ericsson’s Latest Phone: Sony Ericsson W980i – Walkman plus phone
The Sony Ericsson W980i is the latest phone release in the well-known Walkman series that have conquered the mobile phone market over the years.
The W980i does a incredible job as mobile phone, and is a wonder for music enthusiasts. W980i is a MP3 player in every sense of the word but the big difference is the “Mega-Bass enhancement”, and to ensure the best audio experience, Sony Ericsson have included the new Stereo Portable Hands free HPM-77 headset.
Additional music features include the Shake Control, which allows you to change tracks with a flick of your wrist! Awesome!
The built-in FM transmitter allows you to send music from the W980i to any other device with a built-in FM radio receiver to listen to. The W980i also has a TrackID feature which allows you to identify tracks you don’t know the title, and download them via the Play Now arena.
And if you are worrying about how many songs you can store in this phone, you don’t need to worry! It has built-in 8GB internal memory that can almost store 8,000 full songs.
About the other phone features, it is a 3G phone and does have a well protected 3.2 mega-pixel camera with 2.2 inches, 256K colors TFT touchscreen display that has a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Plus it has HSDPA for high speed downloads, especially useful for music. W980i is also quad-band, so you can literally use it anywhere in the world.
